The Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Khalil Suleiman Halilu, paid an inspection visit to the ongoing construction of the Sustainable & Emerging Technology Institute (SETI) at Bayero University, Kano (BUK). The visit highlighted the steady progress of the project, which is one of the EVC’s flagship legacy initiatives aimed at strengthening Nigeria’s capacity in science, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Speaking during the visit, the EVC reaffirmed the institute’s long-term vision, stating that SETI will nurture innovators, technologists, and entrepreneurs who will not only drive Nigeria’s technological advancement but also compete successfully on the global stage. Once completed, the institute is expected to serve as a hub for cutting-edge research, innovation, skills development, and technology commercialization, contributing significantly to the nation’s sustainable economic growth and human capital development.
